What is an ÉCONOMUSÉE® ?
An ÉCONOMUSÉE® is an enterprise that demonstrates the use of traditional skills and knowledge in the production of fine crafts and speciality foods. Each ÉCONOMUSÉE® is a working business showcasing a distinct craft or trade by opening the doors of its workshop to the public.
ÉCONOMUSÉE® Network
The International ÉCONOMUSÉE® Network Society (IENS) is a not for profit society with a mandate to conserve traditional know-how, by working with businesses involved in the production of traditional crafts in Quebec and Atlantic Canada, and in other regions nationally and internationally.
An ÉCONOMUSÉE® is funded entirely through the sale of its products.
